OK, this time I’ll cut through the bull…
Let’s face it, writing one’s own profile is a challenge... If we take the honest approach, we’ll be perceived as boring, weak, plain, or unexciting. If we take the bold approach, we’ll be perceived as conceited, if not, probably a liar. If we take the romantic approach, we’ll be pegged as corny. It’s a no-win situation.
So how about this?
I’m just a normal guy. Fun/normal. I exercise sometimes, when I feel like it. I love mountain-biking, and go several times a week with buddies and a dog. I am up for ANY adventure. I’m a weekend warrior, love the outdoors, but not averse to a good TV show, eating popcorn drowned in butter, with an ice-cold beer in hand.
I don’t get along well with bossy people. I have a loud voice. I put things off.
I am very healthy, and I feel no different than I did when I was 30. I look younger than I am, but my hair is on a slow retreat north. I am fifteen pounds too heavy, but I wear it well. It’s like a built-in pillow. I’d like to lose it, but obviously not badly enough. I eat chocolate and I drink scotch. Ain’t gonna quit!
I am immensely practical, and deeply curious about everything. I am clever with my hands. I can fix computers, build sheds, install watering systems, build fences, change tires, and massage shoulders.
